January 2010, CHALEX launches FileFlo. FileFlo is a desktop version of BizFlo. Users can log into BizFlo without a browser and manage high volume production jobs through custom workflows that engage dozens of performers in real time over the Internet. FileFlo displays the user task list and job board with dynamic access to assigned tasks and thier related files. FileFlo runs on the desktop without a broswer and authenticates with any BizFlo Server to start jobs, access and complete assigned tasks, and upload and download folders and files. Best of all, FileFlo is a free Air application for any BizFlo registered user.
January 2010, CHALEX announces the BizFlo application exchange framework. Now BizFlo users and independent Flex developers can create their own task detail screens for BizFlo. A Task Detail screen is the user interface presented by BizFlo to allow the performer to complete the assigned task. Task Detail screens may be called by any workflow. February 2010, CHALEX announces PromoFlo, a SmartForm application for planning high volume retail and point of sale promotions. PromoFlo reduces the time, cost and confusion of planning point of sale promotions. PromoFlo replaces the use of spreadsheets with an intuitive set of SmartForms to simplify POS promotion planning for category managers. With PromoFlo Marketing controls Category Manager access to request the production of promotion elements. A rolled up view of all requests is updated in real-time. Modifications to promotion requests are constantly logged. Old promotions may be recalled at any time and updated or saved as new ones. Integration with BizFlo automates production management and job tracking.
April 2010, CHALEX BizFlo, the premier virtual job board, has added dynamic visualization of the graphical workflow model at the task level. Now users see their task in the context of the overall workflow. BizFlo supports any workflow model and users visualize the path that the job bag takes. Click on the Task to update the job ticket and route the job bag to the next performer. Click on the Job Bag to drag and drop digital files between job bags, BizFlo systems and file servers. May 2010, CHALEX exhibits BizFlo and fileFlo at the Henry Stewart conference on Digital Asset Management in New York City. BizFlo has a new Flex user interface and Adobe Air client. BizFlo is the ultimate virtual job board. The new user interface supplements the existing HTML interface to give customers the option of working with FileFlo on the desktop or WebFlo through the browser. FileFlo users enjoy the ability to drag and drop nested file folders into virtual job bags and archives to facilitate secure high speed files transfers over the Internet.
